new grad RN jobs nj

U.S.A. New Jersey

Hello everyone! Nurses, friends of nurses, family of nurses, nurse managers, directors of nursing departments, HR, and anyone I left out!

I am a new graduate and have recently passed the oh so dreaded, exacerbating, and feared nclex! With 2 years of hospital experience as a clinical care tech but no RN experience! I've been desperately applying to jobs to no avail because everyone wants experience! to make matters worse many of the bsn requirements have created another road block. Though I have a previous bachelors degree and am willing to go back no one seems to care.

In any case, I'm writing here because I would appreciate any form of advice or connections! Does anyone know of any useful resources, job fairs, RN residency programs, departments in your hospital or institution that may be hiring?

thanks a bundle!

Hi! I just relocated from Chicago with hopes to find a job in NY. I recently just received my NJ license # today to expand my opportunities. Im currently located in Bergen County.

I was wondering how long you guys waited until you heard back from hospitals? Or if you have any tips on which other hospitals to apply to? Or the best plan to take?

Anything helps! Thank you!

I applied to Barnabas hospital that I knew a few nurses at that vouched for my work ethic. I applied and was called a few days later for an interview for a heavy med surg floor. After interview I was called about a week later and offered the job.. I have been an rn since July 2014, was an LPN for a few years before that. I'm super excited.. Orientation is in a month. Try to network with as many people as possible because these days it really is about WHO you know!

Goodluck on your new position Miss Salubrius. Where will you be working? I am an employee at MMC
