New Grad Pay Presbyterian Hospital Charlotte

Published

Hello,

I am entering my last semester of nursing school. Does anyone know the starting pay of new grad RN's at Presbyterian Hospital/Novant Health? I am very interested in working at this hospital post graduation.

Thanks :nurse:

It's not great, but don't count on getting hired at novant or CMC unless you currently work there (CNA or other non RN healthcare provider) or know someone who works there & can help you get hired!! They didn't hire any new grads from my dec. 2010 BSN class unless they already worked there or had a "hookup". Start applying to other hospitals! CMC starts around $19.75ish Good Luck!!!

Wow! That sounds kinda low. I hope this is without shift differential because I would really like a little more than that....lol

I currently work for Presbyterian as a CNA, so what you said gives me some kind of hope. I will still apply everywhere though because I am pretty flexible and have no children.

Specializes in Step-down ICU.

starting rate is $21/hour with $4 diff for second and third shift.

If I were you i would start contacting the new grad recruiters now. Crystal was one of them that I talked to but I interviewed with Mychau? She's an asian lady, and is very nice. Good luck!

Thanks so much for this info. I remember MyChau. I interviewed with her for my current CNA position. Do you recommend I call the recruiter and inquire about open positions or just go online and apply for what I see then call them? The website is pretty vague about the new hire process for new grads.

Thanks
