New Grad Pay Presbyterian Hospital Charlotte
Thanks so much for this info. I remember MyChau. I interviewed with her for my current CNA position. Do you recommend I call the recruiter and inquire about open positions or just go online and apply for what I see then call them? The website is pretty vague about the new hire process for new grads. Thanks

New Grad Pay Presbyterian Hospital Charlotte
Wow! That sounds kinda low. I hope this is without shift differential because I would really like a little more than that....lol I currently work for Presbyterian as a CNA, so what you said gives me some kind of hope. I will still apply everywhere though because I am pretty flexible and have no children.

New Grad Pay Presbyterian Hospital Charlotte
Hello, I am entering my last semester of nursing school. Does anyone know the starting pay of new grad RN's at Presbyterian Hospital/Novant Health? I am very interested in working at this hospital post graduation. Thanks

amount of overtime available
Thank you so much for answering my question. I didn't know that most RN positions are hourly. As a new RN student I have so much more to learn.

amount of overtime available
I need a little clarity. I am currently in nursing school so I don't really understand the politics of nursing pay. Is overtime paid time and a half even though you are salary? How do you report hours for pay?--do you submit hours?

Tuition Reimbursement, are hospitals still participating?
Thank you LLG and AshleyA for chiming in on this one. I guess all hope is not lost. I will make it a point to check into Tuition reimbursement with companies of interest before even applying. This is a big deal for me.

Tuition Reimbursement, are hospitals still participating?
Hello, I am about to start nursing school in January 2010. My plan is to complete the ADN program and then work for a company that will reimburse me for my RN-BSN/RN-MSN (I currenlty have a Bachelors). Are hospitals or other organizations still participating in tuition reimbursement? What is your take on this? Thanks,
