Hello everybody,
I was just wondering if any of you guys would be interested in working for a Oral Surgeon in Washington DC. It is a small surgical facility that only employs one nurse and several surgical assistants. The nurse is mainly responsible for post-op care from the surgery room to the recovery area as well as discharge instructions. There is also other things involved such as calling in prescriptions, patients calling about different issues, taking care of biopsies and patho reports, lab reports as well as some education of the other staff and keeping employees medical file (doing employee flu shots, scheduling for CPR renewals etc. etc.). The nurse is also the designated Infection Control Manager for the practice. It is a one doctor practice and the doctor is a very well known oral surgeon in the area. New grads are more than welcome as the doctor would rather be able to "mold" and "train" the nurse.
I had to open a different account as I couldnt log in from my other account so I cant sent private messages. But send my a private message if you are interested or respond on here and we can go from there. There are looking for somebody to start immediately. And for those not familiar with the area you can absolutely live in MD or VA and commute to downtown DC. The practice is close to the Farragut North metro station (on the red line) and the farragut west metro station (on the blue and orange line).

I'm sure someone will love an opportunity like this so thank you for posting it but I had to add that whenever I have heard the above sentiment used it usually also means they prefer not to pay very much.
