I will be graduating this May and have been told to go ahead and start applying for jobs now. I'm finding that not many hospitals have new grad programs. Anyone know of any great hospitals to apply to that are new grad friendly, or have new grad programs in Georgia?
hi. I just graduated w my LPN from TX and I'm looking to move to the east coast. My fiance is stationed w the AirForce and Charleston, SC and I would like to be closer to him. Any ideas for schools in the Georgia, Carolinas areas? I will also need to find a good job in that same location. Good luck and thanks in advance for your help!

well, you may just find yourself looking forward to going back to Texas once ya get to the Lowcountry. i cant imagine liking this area more than ANY part of Texas. bring yer skeeter repellent and snake boots. expect higher cost of living, higher taxes, higher car tags and lower wages and less jobs for nurses. dont know anything about schools. once ya get married to him, then yall get BAH so yall will live comfortably but until then you have to live off post (or off base as they say in the USAF) and i imagine Charleston aint much different than Savannah-expensive for what ya get. rude people, very very racist (in both directions). if you are caucasian you will experience alot of it here. good luck. best bet is to have him get a duty station back out West, preferably Texas!
