Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hi fellow nurses! I will be applying for a 456 visa. While waiting for my letter of offer from the school, what are the things that I have to be aware of so that I won't be denied? What documents should I prepare and what answers should I put on the form? Hope you guys will be able to help me. Thanks :)
Hi are you gonna attend the BP at IHNA? how much is the tuition fee?
IHNA fee when I inquired recently is the following:
Course Fee:
Fee For Introduction to Bridging Program (e-learning) - AUD 500
Tuition fee for the Registration Bridging Program for Overseas Qualified Nurses - AUD 11,000
Total Course Fee :- AUD 11,500
But please update yourself and reinquire because price may change without notice.
hi i received an email from a registration officer stating that ....
Please find attached your letter of eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. The original has been mailed to you today. On arrival in Sydney, please present at the AHPRA office with the eligibility letter, passport and visa to process your identification.
Your registration will be finalised within a couple of days of your arrival.
does this mean that I do not have to do BP?
please give your opinion..
GOD bless
