Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

yes i studied here in phil. then worked in the U.S. for 3 years. I lodged my application april 2011. did not follow up soon as I know the process took long but can't wait no more (wait=11months) so I called them march 2012, then received an email that I have to submit new statement of service, clinical and theoretical hours transcript and a reference letter from my manager. Submitted them may 15, 2012 and now I got this email. hehe.
I hope no need for BP..

Hi. Yeah, you're hope is right. You do not need to undergo a bridging program. I also have a US work experience and they waived the BP requirement for me.
Congratulations!

Hey guys! I received an email today:
Dear Miss *****,
Thank you for your application for registration as a registered nurse received by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) on 7 March 2012. Your application has been reviewed and currently no further information is required from you. Your application is now required to be considered by the Registration Committee of Queensland. This Committee meets once every month and can therefore cause slight delays with expected timeframes. When your application is to be considered by the Committee, you will be notified via email of the relevant meeting date.
Does this mean that it is already for final approval? TIA! :)

Hi, i don't have any USA experience. I just volunteered at a government hospital here in the Philippines for 8 months.
A relative of mine used her credit card to pay for everything.
