New Excelsior student wanted to say hello

I have been a lurker for over a year now...and because of you and your success stories i have decided to take the plunge and enroll also...i am very excited....have been an lpn for 3 years now...but i want my horizons to be expanded plus i want to be able to do MY OWN assessments (lol)...am studying for EON: Health Differences...wish me luck & GOD's blessings on All who are also embarking on this Excelsior journey...xoxo :yeah:

Hey. Welcome to the forums. There are many with lots of good advice. Take heed and listen :) only one question tho. If you've only been an LPN for 3 years, EC will grant you a waiver for Health Differences. Are you sure you will need to take this exam?

Nope, it's for Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Differences. Everyone has to take Health Safety. Good luck!

Welcome to the boards!! You will find lots of support and encouragement here. Like LunahRN said - health differences can be waived!! Health safety wasn't bad at all. I'm taking LS2 in the morning and then onlyl one test to go and FCCA and CPNE!! The time goes by quickly! I started beginning of April!!! Good Luck!!

wow thats awesome! So im on Day 3 of studying for Safety...can you give me any pointers on what was on that exam..i know everyone is not the same...but i would kind of like to have a ballpark of what to expect...im so happy ive found this site...i paid to take my test...i want to take it next weekend :)
