I don't think they have a minimum GPA, that I recall ... they just won't transfer anything less than a grade of "C." :)

EC will evaluate your transcripts when you enter and issue you a document that tells you what they are applying toward your EC degree. You can find in their nursing school catalog, a policy that states that you can request to have classes deleted or replaced, thus tailoring your EC transcript to have only your higher graded classes show and give you a higher GPA. This can help you should you decide to further your education and need a higher GPA for admission purposes. EC does accept certain classes with D, but the overall average must be 2.0. You need to clarify these policies for yourself by reading the info and nursing school catalog found on the EC site: http://www.excelsior.edu. Good luck.

Actually, that has changed this year ... it has to be at least a "C" to be accepted. According to EC, when they became eligible to administer Federal financial aid, some policy changes went into effect at the beginning of the year, including that grades of D will no longer be accepted in transfer.
:lol2:sorry for the super delayed response. i had actually lost my post and i did not know where to find it... lol! but i did an advanced search and located it. thanks for your info. it is so nice to know they can pick credits from different schools.
