Hey everyone...FYI, Excelsior has added a new test site in Texas. Amarillo is the latest CPNE test site, with a short waiting list...Go get em folks!!!

From what I read on www.alittlesarcasm.com it appears it opened only 2 or 3 weeks ago. When I did my CPNE in Racine, I heard the CA talking about the new Texas site. Testers might be able to get in Feb instead of May!!!

OPALM>>>> things are good....thanks for asking! I am studying for NCLEX exam now. SO glad the pressure is off...Excelsior College IS a great program...worth the effort and sleepless nights....Glad it is over and I can go back to work at my many jobs...LOL

I just heard about Amarillo. My former study buddy is going there in February.

Anybody been and survived? How did it go? Please post about your experience.....

I have heard the new Texas site is good. I believe there are some posts on a site called alittlesarcasm.com from someone who has gone there...and YES, it was positive!

I have heard some about Amarillo, and there is a posting about it on http://www.alittlesarcasm.com but they are still scheduling into late April and early May. From what I understand from the EC website they are only scheduling at this site once a month due to not enough examiners. The website says they hope to have enough new examiners trained to go every weekend by May.

Read the newspaper here in sunny florida, and found a want ad for instructors for Excelsior's new cpne test site here. Apparently their going to have one in Tampa, Fl.

So if there just looking for instructors now, it might be a little while before it's official...
