Hello all! I just got my Nurse Aide registry listing in July and have started applying to positions. I hope to work as a Nurse Aide while I finish my RN program pre-reqs, and while in nursing school.
So, I was just offered an interview for a NA position at a nursing and rehab facility. Ideally, I would like to work in a hospital, but I can't be too picky since I don't have any job experience yet. My question is, this facility has some complaints and bad ratings over the last few years. Will this look bad on me and/or my career if I decide to work for a facility with bad ratings?
Thank you for your input and advice!!

Nope. All facilities probably have complaints and "bad ratings" over a period of a couple years. And if you're able to survive a really horrible environment, it might actually make you look good.
Thank you @Sour Lemon! Maybe it's my naiveté still being new in the field, but I feel like if I can provide better care to even one patient in this place, I'll be making a difference.
