You may want to find an opportunity to shadow a nurse for a day or two before making a final decision on your new career path. If you do decide to enter the nursing field, investigate the job opportunities in your area- who is hiring and what are they requiring? With a previous bachelors, you can also investigate accelerated RN programs that are designed for people with a previous bachelors degree.
I would say do a 6 month CNA course first honestly. And work that so you can get used to resident/patient interaction.
I was a CNA before being an LPN and I was surprised how awkward these people acted with resident/patients. It will alsocgive you great experience and flexible hours the vet office can't. Good luck hun!

I have been a veterinary technician for the past 10 years and I want a new career path. I enjoy taking care of animal patients and I also love working with my "human" clients as well.
I am debating on whether to go to LPN school or RN school. I am going to have to work while I am school in order to pay my bills. I live in paradise valley area (Arizona) and I was wondering what school everyone recommends?
I have my bachelors in business management, but it has been a while since I have been in college. I would appreciate any advice!
