Hey everyone,

I'm a young guy 2 years out of school. I've just moved to Atlanta to start a new job and I was just wondering what all of you other nurses do to meet new people and have fun while still working crazy hours? I've lucked out and landed a M-F 3-11p shift so no weekends, but I'm not sure what to do with myself now that I have weekends off. Any suggestions? :)

Welcome to Atlanta! well it alll depends on the type of things you like, clubs....restaurants....festivals. Theres alot to do for the young crowd. what type of things do you like? single? gay or straight (not trying to offend you but this is the black gay capital) so i guesss if you tell me a bit more i can stear u to the right direction

p.s. where will you be working?

When you're alone and life is making you lonely

You can always go - downtown

When you've got worries, all the noise and the hurry

Seems to help, I know - downtown

Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city

Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty

DOWNTOWN :)!

When I just moved to Atlanta, I used this website www.meetup.com and met a few nice people through there. You basically type in what interests you and find a group and "meet up" with them.

I've gone to a lot of the parks, a few festivals, tubing, clubbing, bar hopping, hiking...but most of all, I love the food here. :)
