i just called the BON in nevada and they told me it would take 2 weeks to get the results from pearsonve and then another week to 10 days to issue me a license. i told them i thought pearsonvue sent them the results right away. they told me no thats not true. has anyone from nevada had this problem? it's so frustrating because i would like to start working as RN .. i passed my boards a week ago today .. any info would be helpful.:angryfire

They can have what ever policy that they want in place for issuing a license. Until you have a license number actually issued to you by them, you cannot start working as an RN.
Remember that Pearson-Vue states unofficial results. They do not issue the license, only the BON does. And I understand your wanting to start work immediately, but you have to abide by what ever your state wants to do.
Results are sent out immediately to the BON for each state, that is why some get their licenses so quickly. But there is not one thing that you can do to speed up things in your state. So the two weeks of waiting for them to get the results, unless they wait to get it in writing and not via computer, but agian that is their choice.
