Yeah so far I've made 100's on every test and I stink at math. You just need to memorize a few things and you'll be golden. Know your equivalencies like kg to pounds. My prof. also made us take an abbreviation exam over things like tid, bid, q, im, ivpb...etc.

Review dimensional analysis you learned from chemistry class; so long as you know what is given to you and what units your answer must be in, then you should have no problem setting-up the conversion calculations.
Don't get intimidated; this is basic math...multiplication and division. Just remember to start with what is given and end with what you need...if your units cancel out and you are left with the correct units, then more than likely the conversion was set up correctly; if units are different...you need to go back and check the conversion.
ahh - the other thing i just thought - break out the problem/do all conversions before starting the actual math of the problem (e.g. convert 2 hours to 120 mins for gtts) - usually there is a lot more info than one needs in a problem. :)
Thanks so much for all the encouragement I really do appreciate it... The unknown is always intimidating but I will continue to pray and study like everyone suggested, thanks again

I start school next month, and I felt the same way! It had been so long since I had needed to apply any extensive conversion/math skills.
But once you start reviewing, it's easy!
Besides reviewing a quick "How To" book, I also have this website (http://www.dosagehelp.com/) that emails me a dosage question everyday. Just to keep it fresh in my mind :)
