So I officially have 3 more semesters in the FNP program and while I cant wait to be done with school, Im also very nervous. Just started my adult health/internal med clinical rotation and I feel like I dont know A THING!! My background is in women's health and babies (loved my pedi and womens health rotations), so this semester I feel as if i have a HUGE learning curve to overcome. I'm kind of nervous going to clinicals because I really dont know what to expect with the adult population.
Is it normal to feel this way?? At what point will I get over this feeling of nervousness??

Absolutely normal. As for how long it's going to last, not sure. I just passed boards today and I still feel like an imposter!
If nothing else, remind yourself that taking care of adult males is part of your caring for women and babies. After all, most of those women and babies probably have some men in their lives that they love and need to keep healthy!
