Need Some Help!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hey there!

I'm someone that is looking into nursing seriously as a career.

I was going to school last seamster to get all my prerequisites in so I could apply for the LPN program at my local community college. I had to withdraw from school because of some personal reasons. So because of that I now owe that school 650 dollars and I can't get federal financial aide until next year. I was just wondering though how the whole concept works when hospitals pay for you school in return with the agreement that you agree to work for them when you earn your degree. Do you have to be accepted to an accredited nursing program first before this can happen?

I have so many aspirations right now but my life is in turmoil. I'm living with friends in military housing and I'm not even suppose to be here and working a part time job at 20 hours a week making on six dollars an hour and if I get kicked out of this house I'll be homeless and not have any where to go.

Any advice on the school thing would be appreciated.

My first advice would be to get yourself together as far as your living situation goes. It would be next to impossible to stay in school if you are homeless. Are you able to move back home with your parents? What about another relative? Good luck...
