first off--- breathe....
close your eyes and just breathe in love and positive thoughts and breathe out all the negativity and all the stress.... do this x10.
it sounds like u've prepared enough for this test so, just make sure ur nerves are in check. don't stress the anticipation, but focus on what you know and knock those questions out :hlk:
g'luck!
alas you are here! you've made it through nursing school! a crucial step! my ati predicted that i had a 98% chance of passing and indeed i passed the first time! i walked out of nclex feeling like a failure, i went home and curled up in a ball i was just so shocked and you may feel that way when taking the test but!!! that means nothing! you are confident, you know you've studied and the ati is very reliable. dont let the nerves get to you, bestest of luck!
Ok Just breath. I just took mine on July 5, I was prepared, SO I THOUGHT... I studied ATI (Had to pass to graduate) and also Kaplan Q Bank (School purchase as well). I thought I had it. I made myself a CD and turned it up loud all the way there... I got in and I was still calm, well then OMG the first question WAMO, It was so foreign looking to me..... My one word of advice is, try your hardest, narrow down your answers, and BREATH, no matter what number you hit, just keep trying... I went all the way to 205, at that point i was WIPED OUT.. But I still tried my best, I walked out of there knowing I failed cried all the way home, and freaked out for 2 days until this morning, I PASSED.... DON"T GIVE UP..... Just do your best you will know the answer.
Lots of luck,
Thank each of you SOOO much! :redbeathe I found out this morning I passed with 85 questions! Thank you GOD that this chapter of my life is over. :bowingpur This entire week has been horrid!!
I now have my LPN!! I can say "I'm a nurse!!" Woo hoo!! :heartbeat:nurse:
Now, to start RN school in two weeks...lol.

I need to hear from you if you passed the first time. How difficult you found the test to be. What you did to prepare for the NCLEX. (Honestly) How you studied? What you did the morning of the exam to relax. Your test taking strategy. Anything you can to offer reassurance.
I really need to pass this exam on Wednesday. The stress is killing me!
I took the ATI Comprehensive predictor when exiting my PN Program and got an 81% on the test which said I had a 99% chance of passing on the first time and ranked in the 99th percentile nationwide. I am trying to remember that and breathe deeply. I have been taking ATI Practice exams and reading the rationales. My LPN-RN bridge program begins July 28th. If I don't pass the NCLEX on Wednesday, I lose my spot in the program and a great deal of money for books, tuition, etc. The program says the tests to get into the bridge are alot like the NCLEX and if you passed them with high enough scores to get into the bridge, you will very likely pass the NCLEX the first time. (Statistically, almost every student they accept into the bridge who just completed an LPN Program pass the NCLEX the first time...but there is always that chance you know....) I am scared to death. I know I can do this. I just need to breathe, read the question, figure out specifically what it is asking, and choose the best response from those given. I hate alternate format questions and SATA. I pray I pass this test.

Any words of wisdom or advice?
Reading about other NCLEX takers flunking the exam here on allnurses is giving me a serious complex.
