many of you have been asking for preceptors lately and i have responded similarly to all of them... i'm not sure how conclusive this list is, but should you need a preceptor start here: http://www.npfinder.com

this is a site offered by the american academy of nurse practitioners, and most of the aanp members have listed themselves here. other resources include state and local np associations and simply calling out of the phone book (i wasn't too good for this before the np finder and it worked well for me. :))

Hi everyone, I will be in my last semester of Transitions for ANP in Jan. We are being given the opportunity to provide areas of specialty that we would like to try in that last semester. Does anyone know of a preceptor in Dermatology that is willing to take NP students in Tampa, Fl?

I am a family nurse practitioner student desperately seeking a preceptor for pediatric clinical. I had to sit out the last two semesters. I have been sending out letters and making phone calls with no luck. I have tried friends, co-workers, np websites, and contacted pediatric offices. I live in the Dallas area.
