Need a nurse who's treated hemophilia

In my Anatomy and Physiology class we were given an assignment to write about a common condition (I chose hemophilia), and part of the assignment is to interview a nurse who has dealt with the condition. Unfortunately I don't know any nurses so I was hoping someone here would be willing to be the subject of an interview that has dealt with cases of hemophilia in the past.

If someone could message me that meets those criteria I would appreciate it. All I plan on doing is creating a list of questions and e-mailing them to you and give you time to respond.

Thanks in advance,

Hi, I am a poor choice until you get a better response. It has been about 15 LONG years since I was a floor nurse and we had a hemophiliac come in frequently, get admitted for bleeding and need Factor VIII. (I am still a bedside nurse, just have moved into different areas of nursing since then).

Specializes in SICU.

What makes you think that hemophilia is a common condition?

Did the school give you a list of conditions that you could chose from and this was on the list? Does it have to be a blood condition such as sickle cell anemia or any common condition such as pneumonia?

My point is that hemophilia is not common and you might do better with a different choice. Good luck.
