Well, I have done the research on nursing schools in my area. I now need to pass a test to get into a community college to take the prerequisite courses.
I have a major problem with math. I didnt take all the classes I should have when I was in high school. I could kick myself. If anyone knows of any good websites for algebra and so forth please let me know. I am becoming so discouraged because math has always been my weakness . I'm just going to study, study, study until I get it. So any info you can give will be a tremendous help.
Thanks Nurse WannaBe:crying2:

Hey Keke !!
Read Barron's "Math the Easy Way." It covers all math topics and explains everything clearly.
I'm a "math-anxious" student too, and am taking Chemistry right now. From the tips that I got in this site, they all advised to keep on solving problems. Math is a subject that you learn by doing, not just by memorizing.
Good luck !!
Thanks for the info. I will check that out.

just remember they are expecting high school level only. I did not even have algebra before I took that test, but I passed because of the logic questions asked. Even the Math for Med's books teach some algebra.
