I would suggest you get a free account on EC and then you will have access to all the above information. Just go to their website and follow the instructions for an account. you can print the catalog along with all the other financial information and costs.

As for looking down, I am not sure what you mean.

Good Luck

I got info from their site and had info mailed to me, also called and talked with them, asking all the questions that I was unsure of. I'm contemplating EC after I finish LPN next year. I've read info from some of their graduates about running into discrimination because of not graduating from traditional school, mainly in California. But they still seem to get viable positions after graduation. I live in Georgia now, but am originally from California. So, there is always the possibility that I'll move back. So EC was a concern for me. But I'm not deterred from considering them for my RN education.

I'd like to expand on this alittle...I've heard rumors that EC grads are having a difficult time finding jobs afterwards. Can anyone clarify this? I have been an LPN for two years now- with lots of experience (My nose always seems to be in the right place:-) I have thought tons about EC and have gotten the info-but would like some input into the world beyond. I believe the OP would be interested in this info also. Thanks all!

Haven't heard of any having problems in my metro area. I am finishing up myself and take my clinicals (CPNE in 3 weeks). I work with several EC grads at two different hospitals...the fact is, most people/places dont know or care if you are licensed and handle yourself well, no difference at all. Like EC's motto says....."what you know is more important that where you learned it" My work place is excited for me and will promote me from LVN to RN spot as soon as I am eligible. No problems I know of. Possibly in CA, GA or IL.

To be honest I have never heard such a thing, and I have been all over the boards for a few years now. On a rare occasion you will hear about some uneducated person who has made a comment to an EC student about a "Cracker Jack box diploma" but as I said, those comments are rare. When I have told people that I got my degree through EC I got nothing but respectful comments from them.

Thank you both for your comments- I'm glad to know you face no such problems! As I said- I am ernestly looking into this option. It's nice to know all the effort wont be lost.
