Co-sleeping, reasons why pr why not, and safe ways to go about it?
I still think you could do baby blues vs depression. I don't think it "has" to be over within 2 weeks. I've noticed in some cases it doesn't even start until a little later, after the initial high/adrenalin rush wears off and fatigue starts really settling in.
Or postpartum anxiety? That isn't tallied about much, but it's getting a little more press lately.
Thanks for all your ideas. I am going to go with 'coping' and incorporate baby blues vs. postpartum depression and signs of it.
Be sure to look in your NANDA-I for all the nursing diagnoses related to coping, family role, and such. They will give you a good foundation for your teaching plan and your faculty will kiss your feet.

I have to do a knowledge advancement project for new moms. It doesn't have to be a long presentation, but have no ideas. There are already boards on car seat safety, nutrition and breastfeeding. I was thinking of doing baby blues vs postpartum, but then realized baby blues would be just about over by 10-14 day mark. Any thoughts?
