My experience with the license verification in PRC took about 2-3 weeks.

The BON state I applied at had a license verification form which I mail to the Phil and back via fedex.

Best way for you to get it is for someone in Baguio to walk the processing for you since you are already in TN.

thank you so much!

I just had my license verified by PRC in Manila for the visascreen certificate last month. I sent the verification form to my brother ( as I am here in Texas as well) with authorization letter for him to transact it for me. It took about two weeks. He went back to PRC when it was ready to be mailed as they have courier/ DHL inside the PRC campus and paid like P1,500. Three to four days later, I got an email from CGFNS that they have received the document.

The P1,500 was just for the mailing as I might confuse you.

I came here on a working visa (H1C) way back March 2003. I filed my application for adjustment of status for permanent residence together with my husband on December 2004 but with the backlog, we are still waiting for our green cards. And actually, with the April 2009 visa bulletin, the visa numbers again retrogressed for the Philippines ( and other countries)--it is now March 1, 2003. It was May 1, 2005 in the March 2009 visa bulletin. What is you visa, a. nurse.soon?

If you filed for AOS back in 2004 then I would seriously think that something was wrong with your application as many many nurses have filed since then with AOS and had no problems.

Retrogression only started this time in Oct 06 so you should have received a visa long before then

Hi, would you still remember what are the requirements in having the license verified by PRC? My mom's friend is also in Texas and is asking a favor to process the verification form for her. I can't find any information from PRC's website. Thanks in advance!

I did not know of the requirements beforehand but I sent my brother a copy of my expired license. If her license is expired, PRC might require her to reinstate so I did just that. So, tell you mom's friend to send pictures, too (passport size)for the reinstatement plus the authorization letter that you will transact it for her.
