can I have some topics that you

had encountered in the exam..

please i need updates..

thank you in advance!!! :loveya:

It will also be helpful to mention the topics for "put in order" and "SATA" who have given the NCLEX in last 2 months. For example Allen's Test, Iron Z track injection like that...:)

Remember what one gets another will not and just looking at topics isn't going to help much for a couple of reasons, remember you are not supposed to discuss the exam questions post exam as per the confidential exam and topics can cover a huge area and no telling what sort of questions you will get

I completely agree. I studied a lot of things on the endocrine system because so many people said they had a bunch of questions on that topic and when I went in there I got OB/Peds and liver questions. They have so many questions it's pretty much impossible to know exactly what's going to come up in any given exam. Just feel comfortable in most topics. even if you get something that's completely out there, which you might (I did, on my first question - it was some med I never heard of!), the next question will be "easier" to get you back up to the passing standard. Getting a question wrong won't make you fail, getting a bunch of questions wrong will. Just focus on each individual question. Once that question is off the screen it should be out of your mind. It is no longer relevant to your exam so don't think about it. Practice questions and review your content. that is the best way to prepare.

If you get something you've never heard of, just try to see if you can eliminate some of the choices that are similar. For example, I had a medication I had never heard of before but my choices were 'decrease HR', 'decrease BP' and I figured those two would have the same effect if given so it wouldn't make sense to choose either of them. And sometimes you just have to make a guess. The NCLEX is super random, in my opinion, and what you've studied may or may not be on there. Chances are, you'll remember in the depths of you nursing knowledge brain. :) Good luck!
