Go to the Distance Learning forum and do a search on The College Network. You will find that a majority advise against signing a contract with this publishing company. All they do is sell you overpriced study guides to be used with the Excelsior College nursing program or the Indiana State University LPN to RN program. Waste of money. You can find their study guides used on ebay for a fraction of the cost than they want for them new. If you sign the contract and don't rescind it within the three day cooling off period, then decide that the study guides are a waste of money, you will be stuck with a debt well over $5000, which TCN will aggressively collect. You can do either the Excelsior or Indiana State programs without the help of ANY publishing company. Highly suggest that you go to the website of Excelsior and Indiana State and read up on the programs to see which may be of interest to you. You should become familiar with what is on these websites before you make your decision and do not go the TCN route unless you truly want to pay them more than $5000 for study resources you could have obtained elsewhere for free or for very little money. Read about these programs on the forum for distance learning and you can get a feel for how different students feel about them. If you have any questions you can ask the various schools. But be prepared to have the Indiana school advisors refer you to TCN. They have a contract with TCN and an interest in getting people to pay the money to TCN although an individual can do the program without having anything to do with TCN.
