If I were you I would also look pretty in depth into a review book, mostly since it's been 2 years since you have been in nursing school. I am just graduating this week and I know how much I have forgotten since first semester....I can't imagine how much information I'd forget 2 years later. Good luck!
This book is great for pharmacology review.

I have taken the NCLEX-RN exam 3 times and have failed each time. It's been two years since i have graduated nursing school and its time that i pass. I took a long time in between tests because i was depressed from failing and I was sick for a while so that didn't help. Each time I took the exam, I tried different things such as different books. I even took the Kaplan review course and that didn't help me pass. Just recently I have decided to get back into the game and start studying again. I am trying to be more positive and tell myself that i can do it. I have worked too hard to just give up on something that i know i was born to do. I recently bought the new davis q&a book and so far I find it to be good. i even finished the book about prioritizing and delegating. My question is should I be reading an actual review book and do questions or should I just continue doing questions and just review things that i don't know? Also, does anyone know a good way to memorize medications or know of a good book or notecards that I could buy? I would appreciate it if someone could help me. I am really lost and i need some direction. Thanks. :)
I feel your struggle. From my various post you'll find I'm traveling this road with you. Our path shall now lead to
licensure. RN Bound! We really only fail if and when we give up on ourselves. May that never be the case.

Who is the author of the davis q & a book goggle brought up3 books?
The key is to figure out how to break down the questions. There is always gonna be material that you are not familiar with. Just know what the question is asking and look for key words, time frames, and interventions vs assessments. There is an awsone book that I used that has several SATA and prioritization questions (which is like NCLEX exam) "Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment". second edition LaCharity, Kumagai, anf Bartz. Hope this helps:)
