Nursing Students NCLEX

good day colleagues! i have a problem, the signature i have in my passport is not the same (just the first letter though) with the signature that i used when i submitted my application for NCLEX, which signature should i use at the testing center, the recent one or the one that appears on my passport which i no longer use?..

thank you very much, may God bless us all..

it is very important to be consistent with your signature! how come you used diffirent siganture in your aplication.

There are no applications for the NCLEX exam, one applies first for licensure. For the exam itself, you are only submitting a registration form, but it not to be considered an application for the exam. Just wanted to clear this up.

The signature that is in your passport is the one that they will use for verification. As mentioned above, not sure why you decided to change signatures, this can cause you issues later on that will be hard to get sorted out.

Please do not make any changes to any names or signatures until you have the entire process completed or you will be spending undue time trying to get things corrected.

Be aware that the testing center can deny you admission if things do not match up, and if denied, then your ATT is usually cancelled and you would start everything all over again.

that's tough.. well, it is important to present SAME signature in any legal documents. maybe best thing to do is to use the signature in your passport.. remember to be consistent especially on signatures.

Since your passport is used to verify your identity (and ergo your signature) it is important that your most common signature be on there. Since you cannot change that you should use the signature on your passport for the exam process.

It is unfortunately becoming a common occurance of Pinoy nurses going to take NCLEX and getting turned away at the testing site because of problems with the Passport or the signatures not matching or the name being spelled differently.

I cannot stress this enough: When you apply for the passport make 100% sure that the information is perfectly correct and DO NOT USE FIXERS!!!

Any error in your passport is very difficult to correct here in the Philippines using legitimate channels so you need to make sure it is straight first.

Then when you are completing your eligibility registration for NCLEX you must check over and over to ensure that your information matches across the board. When you get your ATT the name should match, if it doesn't then request a new ATT with your correct name.

If you are turned away at the testing site because of this error you may have to re-apply and pay all the fees again!

hi, i recieved my ATT just recently... I am having problems with my middle name, in my ATT i have there my middle name but in the passport that I have my middle is not reflected since im an illigetimate child. would this matter? since what is stated in the ATT itself, the first and last name only should match up. nonetheless, it still makes me worried.. will it be ok?
