You are going to study an entire psych book to prepare for the NCLEX?? Bad idea in my opinion. I think buying an NCLEX review book and reviewing the section on psych nursing is sufficient.

As MikeyJ stated, for NCLEX, I believe that a Comprehensive Review book is more than sufficient. To go over every detail of a text at this stage of the game would be cumbersome; in fact, you may find conflicting information. Saunders comes highly recommended by most people.

I agree with MikeyJ and Pagandeva - NCLEX style review is a much better source for prepping for the exam. If Psych is a weak area of yours, maybe you could also try Prentice Hall's Reviews and Rationales for Mental Health. It's pretty good, and it helped me through school.
Best of luck to you,
