Never, ever use the on-line application. Download it and complete it the old fashion way and sumbit payment with it.

If you don't have an ID number, you have to download the application and send it through regular mail. Make sure you look at the website for the current required fee, I believe the fee will increase in May.
Even if you have an ID number, do not complete the form on-line. If you make one little mistake, with a number or letter wrong, it will take you months to get it corrected. Once you push the button to send it, it has ben sent, and you cannot get it back.

OMG.... I just pushed the send button 5 min ago!!!!!!
Why didn't I read this earlier?? I have been sitting over the CVS and Visa Screen (paper)application for the last 2 nights, and I just read in the handbook that an online application would speed things up, so I signed up, pressed send and then realized that I forgot to print out some of the papers and now I can't go back! Help! What am I going to do? Submit the paper application? Call cgfns? Kill myself? hahaha, kidding, but please HELP!!

Please do not worry
I did mine on line
You can log in at any time and track progress
It will tell you what they are waiting for
Have you paid by credit card that speeds thing up?
You can go back and print anything out like the verification forms

uggggggggg i'm thinking that i made one of these little errors i applied on line and when it was all done and i was printing up the documents i noticed that the paper said that i wanted a green card ...... but in reality i want a tn visa. i couldn't change it so i sent in a paper application along with all my other info. sooooooooo my question is should i write them a letter stating the error on the on line application or will they change it because of the paper application that i sent in.
