Need some help - Hurst, NCSBN or EXAM CRAM?

Published

Hello nurses,

I am reading a lot of forums and I am getting confused. I graduated last 2008 and I need to review for my nclex. Can you give me advice on where should I start?

Which is the best content? Hurst, NCSBN, Exam Cram?? Please help me!

Saunders comprehensive review for the NCLEX (book) by Linda Ann Silverstri is the best for content in my opinion.

Hurst!!! It's help me!! And foreign!! English it's not my first language and this review help me a lot!! Hurst in confidence!!

Since you have been out of school for some time i would recommend Hurst. It helped me a lot with content.

Hurst helped me a lot, it's very good for content, and I used an app call Philippines NLE review!

Just took my exam today. Ive never tried hurst, but i can swear by NSCBN. The questions I answered on management of care and delegation and priority were IDENTICAL to the test.... It was awesome.. so were the Select all that apply, the pictures they offer, and the ordered response.. try not to stuff yourself with lots of content. thats what i did wrong and i lost weight and sleep over nothing. the NCLEX is all about basic care.. im telling you.. please believe me... the most content you get is having to know pharmacology.. like drugs and when and how to take them, etc. Hope this helps you.. try to breath and sit in the chair and turn in to the ZEN MASTER!!

Congrats Tiffany! I was wondering how long sis u study for and which one of the NCsbn did u choice. I also messaged you..li need advice please. Thank you

Ar- i tried messagin you back but it said that your mailbox is full and cant accept anymore messages.... I studied for a total of 3 weeks. For the first week, i studied for 6-8 hours.. i answered a million kaplan and nscbn questions, took notes, wrote rationales and asked myself WHY that was the correct answer instead of the others I had chosen. I think a big part of nclex is testing strategy . they ask you a lot of the same questions in different format... Then the last 2 weeks.. i studied for about 10 hours a day.. answering nclex, Saunders questions, reading my notes, and doing nscbn questions... then the last 3 days, i studied 10 hours a day from morning till night, and freaked out the morning of the exam at about 3am and studied more till about 7am... just answering questions and memorizing drug stuff.. send me your email so i can send u the notes..

hi tiffany I need your help for notes.i gave boards 4 times.can you just send me notes plz I tried so many review so plz send e notes [email protected]

thanks tiffany for that info. I will do the NCSBN! Did you find the NCLEX difficult?? Is there a lot of pharma questions?

Saunders and Hurst!

I studied nothing but Hurst for two weeks before the NCLEX and passed. I think it helped a lot. At no point during the test did I feel lost and I think Hurst prepared me well.
