60 yr. old Italian male, Roman Catholic, chief complaint weakness and diarrhea. Salesman. Hx of deep vein thrombosis probably related to his immobility during frequent flying. Taking Coumadin and Indocin. Admitting dx are dehydration and GI bleed. Married and no children.
What are the physical condition, emotional and social development, nursing implications?
What are your thoughts? Where should I even start with this paper?
Thanks a lot

Start with doing most of this work yourself. Then ask specific questions if you get stuck. I already went through nursing school. Now it seems to be your turn.

Maybe google something like: developmental stages of life. Find the one he fits and put some thought into it.

You could start with Erikson...
Take into consideration his faith, age, marital status, and physical limitations and then think of potential issues you should consider when caring for this gentleman. Short of doing your homework for you, I think this should help. Good luck.
