60 yr. old Italian male, Roman Catholic, chief complaint weakness and diarrhea. Salesman. Hx of deep vein thrombosis probably related to his immobility during frequent flying. Taking Coumadin and Indocin. Admitting dx are dehydration and GI bleed. Married and no children. What are the physical condition, emotional and social development, nursing implications? What are your thoughts? Where should I even start with this paper? Thanks a lot

Is anyone taking Nursing summer class in the morning?

At the advising session, Deb (the admission coordinator) did emphasize not to get stuck on the idea that high GPA is extremely important and holds anyone from applying. She said last year they accepted someone with a 2.75 GPA... so there is hope people:) Some accepted students don't fulfill the requirements, or simply don't follow the instructions before Fall is here so they get disqualified.... I hope whoever is in the alternate list makes it:) Good luck to you Rocky

Hi everyone. I'm so happy that we made it but we have a lot of hard work ahead of us. I'm taking Nursing 1100 and CNA (not at COD) in the summer. I'm still missing Micro though, i'm not sure, maybe i'll take that next summer...... can I do that??? Omg,, there are some many things going through my mind....summer schedule, the stuff we have to complete that were stated in the letter,, daycare for my baby. It'll take a couple of days for the whole thing to set in but all the long hours of study and stress were all worth it:) I like sushi too:)

Thanks td, I'll look for him when I register in the summer for Micro-- A great teacher makes the subject pleasant and the class enjoyable. I'm taking A&P II now and I don't have a study group, it seems like everyone is on their own but I am the type that learns more in a group.
