you are fortunate; you have an unlimited information base out there to explore. This was not the case when I was doing my OB case studies and care plans. I had to hoof it to the library and spend hours pouring thru a poor selection of OB texts. Use that search engine, the AWHONN site, and a bit of imagination and you will make out ok. good luck finishing this assignment.
If you have access at your school to WebSpirs (I think I spelled that right) you can type in anything and literally get tons of articles hits, I had to do that kinda thing last quarter for OB and again this quarter for community health, and webspirs just helps me kinda see whats out there in the recent research and see if anything peaks my interest...good luck!

Who of us "older" people recall that you somehow irrationally felt better no matter how behind you were on a project even if it was an hour before having to submit it, as long as you found SOMEONE more behind than you! Those were the days.....We of the era of 2 day nursing, non computerized NON air conditioned nursing boards......

I am in my last semester of an ADN program, and just started my OB rotation today. I need some help in finding info for 2 required assignments:o
The first is a 3-4 page research paper on ob conditions (gestiational diabetes, placenta previa, etc) and the second is a poster inservice for the OB unit...........does anyone know a good resource to find info other than my OB textbook? Also, any ideas for the poster inservice would be welcomed.
You all are wonderful people who assist with bringing new lives to the world each day, and any help would be appreciated.
