For visa information go to www.cic.gc.ca. I believe you need to be accepted to a program before you can apply for a student visa.
I am not sure how our programs compare to the ones in the Philippines but in order to become an RN in Canada you must complete a 4 year BSN.
thank you for your reply :) ahh ok.. so i cant take the masters degree program? do you know what school offers courses for LPN?
You could take a Masters after you got your BSN. There are dozens of schools that offer LPN courses across Canada. You may want to do some research and decide which province you want to go to first.I don't think an LPN course would qualify you for visa purposes if you wanted to immigrate to Canada.RN would be listed in the skilled worker class.

And don't forget that international students have to pay roughly double the tuition of Canadian students. Most good, government subsidized PN programmes have long wait lists, so it's doubtful that they'd even accept non-resident students.
Add in the fact that several provinces have decided that completing high school in the Phillipines isn't the equivalent of Grade 12 here, there are all sorts of issues.

Hi. I hope some replies me. I'm currently working in Singapore for 5 years and I decided to study in Canada. Would it be okay if I opt to study the bridging for Nursing? I just started my assessm by in nnas. When I checked the requirement in one of the school in Toronto they need a letter from cno requiring for bridging. Or should I opt to take the practical nursing course? Pleas advise
