Hello fellow nursing buddies,

I am about to become a 4th semester nursing student and I recently found out I did not take developmental psychology.

I need your help in finding one online in order to graduate on time. :crying2:

I'm stressing out and am getting worried I will not be able to.

If anyone can direct me in the right direction I would surely appreciate it!!

Thank you very much, I really need the support, I want to graduate on time.... I need to pay off student loans and support my family.

God bless,

See if your college with accept the CLEP exam for Human Growth and Development AKA Developmental Psych. It is offered thru many colleges to CLEP out of, and in my opinion it was an easy 3 credit exam. One good psych book and you'll ace it.

Okay I'll ask. Where do you go about looking for this said exam?

Did you take yours at a junior college?

Thank you for your response. You're awesome. kudos for u

I agree - CLEP is the way to go. I took it 2 months ago and it was an easy 3 credits.

Does anyone know if excelsior college accepts a CLEP for developmental psych?

I took the Human Growth & Development CLEP to cover EC's lifespan dev. psych requirement. That was in 2007 or 2008, but I'm pretty sure they still accept it.

You can try Herkimer Community County College that have online degree. The school is in NY so if your out of state you would have to pay that fee.

Alright will try that college right now.

Has anyone successfully tried taking an excelsior class and attempted to transfer it to their junior college?

I would stick with the CLEP test .... probably more widely accepted, but check with your school.

For sure.

I'm going to try to e-mail my counselor right now regarding the CLEP test.

Is there a website where you can find centers(in person or online) regarding the CLEP test?
