I have 2 days left before my NCLEX exam and I am contemplating how I should study from today to the test. 2 months ago, I decided to take virtual ATI to study content and then I took Kaplan last week for strategies. Kaplan has so much online practice and I want to get through it all, but with only 2 days left it's not going to happen. I took 6 of the question trainers and scored from 62-66%. I get so discouraged with my scores and it makes me wonder if I can do this test. I was planning on taking question trainer 7 today, but I dont want to score low and ruin my confidence. Do you think that taking the qbank in tutor mode so that I can answer and review the rationales would be adequate and more beneficial for me? I do want to finish the trainers, but I dont want to ruin my confidence. Let me know what you think! Thanks

I used ATI to study, got 265 questions on NCLEX and failed. The questions on NCLEX were 10x harder than ATI. I'm very upset that I used ATI to study. I will now be using Kaplan. I like having the rationales right after answering a question. But that is just me. Good luck!

I wouldnt use tutor mode. i would do question trainer 7 and review wrong answers. if your score from that is too low and you are not feeling confident, just reschedule the exam. with the extra time you can work on weak areas. i am a kaplan user too, with the same scores. don't lose confident, i think the scores we have are the norm for kaplan. they only recommend scoring 60-65%.
best of luck to you and keep us updated!

I took kaplan and passed. When I used Ati, the first time I failed. I was worried about doing bad on question trainer # 7 too but I really think you should still use and really try to use the decision tree bc it is hard. When I took number 7 I got 64 I believe and even with that I still felt a little disappointed, but even though I felt like that I prepared my mind to feel ready to take it no matter what because I figured I would just use the decision tree and eventually I can figure out the answer or come up with one based on the best that i am able to do. and in the kaplan book they say for number 7 that as long as you dont get below a 60 you are prepared. GOOD LUCK

I took ATI and thought some of the questions were relevant and some were not. I also did the question trainer through Kaplan. You take it in 2 days...just relax, studying now and getting really stressed out will not help you. There is so much to know in nursing that it is impossible to even review it all in a course. Good Luck, have confidence, rest and relax!
