Hey y'all! So I'm 20 years old and I'm really close to signing up with the LVN program here in Houston. Just need advice on it and if this is a good program to sign up for? Thanks so much ?

Welcome!
Do you want to be a nurse? If so, the LVN program might be a good idea. However, it would be wise to avoid programs that are extremely expensive, even if the friendly people at the school tell you that it is all 'covered by financial aid.'
Good luck to you!

How many LVN programs are there in Houston? You would have to compare this program to the others to come up with an answer to your question. However, all accredited programs are going to provide you with the path to take the NCLEX. Your real learning occurs on the job, once you graduate and become licensed. Good luck.
I do want to eventually be a RN later down the road. I feel like it's a "foot in the door" for me. And I'm going to a community college. Do you have a lot of experience in this?
I know there's 1 program that offers it. It's CHCP but the one I'm going to be going to is the San Jacinto College North Campus.
Oh really?? I've been kind of in the dark about all the steps and all that.. So it's nice meeting someone that has litteraly been through the process! You should be my "mentor" lol

I'm in the LVN program at HCC and I like it. I'm almost finished with it.

I worked as an LVN for four years prior to becoming an RN in 2010, so I have lived and breathed the transition from LVN to RN.
Would you say it was a good thing that you have experience working as LPN before transitioning to RN? Im starting LPN program in couples weeks with Sumner College but i do want to get my RN eventually.
How was your experience ??
