Need Advice Please

Im a single mom with 2 young children 3yrs and 5yrs. I got a bachelors degree in Psychology about 10 years ago but after my children were born and much research I decided llast year to go back to school to become an RN.

I only have a few pre req courses before I am accepted into the nursing program which is approximately 2 yr wait then a 2 yr program.

My issue is that I find it diffucult to be an "involved" parent and still have the time to study and get good grades in school.

I took one class last semester (Chemistry) and that was tough but I got a B. Now Im taking Anatomy and Physiology which means I would need to have extra daycare in order to study. Is this wrong?

I feel guilty if I have to put my kids in extra daycare. How do you other moms feel about that...would you choose to go to school full time and complete it faster or take time with your young children and do 1 class at a time?

If I dont take on more classes it will cause about a year in a half in delay to take the classes one at a time and by then I most likley will be financially strapped and have to get a job to make ends meet.

Also Im told I cannot get financiall aid because I already have a degree. I am appealing it to see if its possible but if I only take 1 class then it will not be enough units to get the aide.....what to do???
