Nebraska Service Center Tracker for I-140

Please feel free to post here the date when your I-140 petitions were filed and are handled by this Service Center.

Hopefully, this thread would serve as a tracker or updater on how long I-140 petitions are being approved by this Service Center.

I have the same problem my PD is June 22 2006 and there was no request for further information.

I140 filed August 20 2006 PD date August 21 2006 according to my lawers there was no request made for further evidence. Nabraska service center needs to step up.

Not sure why they need to step up things; as soon as you have approval, you are joining all of the thousands of others under the retrogression. It is still going to be some time to get thru the rest of the processes and there is still no guarantee any longer that all that wish the green card will get one.

If it has been this long, then that normally means that there has been some type of issue with something. Does not matter if the attorney did not receive anything, otherwise approval would ha ve been within the year.

The others above had problems with their initial documents/petitions.

We have seen petitions get denied and then the attorneys resubmit it but never tell the client. And then that means that there was no RFE issued as they redid everything.

I have the same problem my PD is June 22 2006 and there was no request for further information.

Again, if a date is that old and there is no approval on it as of yet, suspect that there were some issues with the initial submission and it was denied and the attorney resubmitted it all with the necessary addional information to get it submitted. Not all are provided the information of what has been done with their file all along.

Unfortunately, we have seen it over and over again here.

my i-140 receipt date is finally on the current processing timeframe on ncis.. whew! 15 months waiting and...

my i-140 is filed May 19, 2008 and the priority date is march 22, 2008...

Sorry, but you cannot have a priority date before your file was submitted. The PD is the date that they received your petition, so not sure if you made a typo or not. But physically impossible to have a date two months before the documents were submitted.

ahh sorry...what i mean is that they are now processing the those who were filed on Mar 2008..

Correction.. As of July 15, 2008, the processing time under I-140 cases is March 2007. In other words, the processing time frame shown on USCIS webpage only reflects applications that they have just completed.

Thanks for clarifying that.

But as the other poster stated above, they are most definitely not processing petitions from March of this year now. It is a year prior to that if you look closely at the dates.
