  1. I am a local board passer in the Philippines and I already passed all my exams including cgfns, nclex and ielts but because of retrogression i'm planning to apply via sponsorship somewhere in canada or maryland .. which comes first my family will sponsor for me....but the thing is I'm going to work as a CNA... I'm thingking if I would be in Maryland If I could change my work from CNA to RN or even just LPN...I dont have any experiences due to freeze hiring in hospitals in our vicinity...i have two applications but still thinking what to choose... canada or maryland...which one is better+++ im thinking maryland would be better because i can apply my exam through licnse examination application...is that right and how about the salary???
  2. I have passed all my requirements as being a nurse in USA. I have passed my :nurse:CGFNS, IELTS and NCLEX and i'm under WESTWAYS staffing. I have also filed my i-140, I was the one who paid because i was told if I want to get my papers filed earlier I should do that. I have a choice of whether to wait when will Westways file it.but my dad will do everything to speed up the process if we have to pay for it so we've done it rather than keep on waiting. they filed my papers on May 2008 but now I'm losing my hope little by little because of retrogression, so Im planning to work in Canada right now even as a CNA because I don't have a job as a nurse here in our country because almost all the hospitals here are freeze-hiring...I have two application it's either in Canada or MAryland...what if i pursue my application in Maryland can I practice there my license as a nurse although I applied it in CA???and according to Suzzane there is no expiration for NClEX so how am I going to forward it to another state before it get detroyed and what about my application in CA if I WILL forward it to another state???Im really confused I dont know what to do..I cant contact my agency becaause their office is in CA and they dont even care to update me even through Emails...hayssss... anyway do you think its a good idea if I will just try another country like canada but ofcourse at first I will be a CNA there because I have to take the exam before I can practice as a nurse and they're gonna pay me only 12$ per hour somewhere in Alberta?would that be enough for my expenses??thanks for your time>>>>>>
  3. woulld it be easy for me to go to USA if i'm already a permanent resident of Canada???
  4. I just want to know if its true after two years of staying in canada you can get permanent residency there???thanks....I also wana know that if Im already in bond with an agency i cannot apply in any institution like fresenius....because according to them that would be bridge of my contract with my agency because they are worldwide and thay can be a competitor of my agency so they wwant me to choose between them and my agency...But of course I'll choose my agency because i alraedy passed all my exam.....for US and waiting for my PD in i-140...

  13. What can you say about our KABABAYANS (fellow countrymen) who are going there to take NVQ 3-4 they are registered nurses here, who are using student visa working in nursing homes and they are promised to received royal certification and can immigrate in any country opening their doors such as Canada, Australia and US.. they have to pay 200k+ and said they will be earning 700-1000 pounds do you think it would be enough for the expenses such as housing which will range from 50-80 pounds to add from that you have salary deduction for your fee 1500-1700 pounds for agency that you will be paying for fifteen months....and by student visa you can work 20 hrs and 20 hrs for the training which paid and you can work overtime...I think you'll just be working just to give the money for the agency...hayzzz.. I'm still weighing if to or not to go to UK...

  15. i felt sad and tears just came running down my cheeks when I read your message that is true that's also what I feel right now. So what happened to your application??I also passed all my exams and now waiting for my approval of i-140 in US but now we have a financial problem my mom who's working in Israel as a caregiver is now coming home because her visa is expired already and i've gotta go and could not wait for my US petition. I badly need a job.. we HAve rice crisis, oil price continues to rise, most hospitals are freeze hiring so even as a caregiver ...thanks for those people who are concerned enough to give us pieces of advices we really appreciate you.....and for us to fulfill our dream...maybe the 2year contract in UK as NVQ would be enough while waiting for my petition in US.....im ready to face the challenge i know God will help us....some works to call center....Maybe if you are in our shoes maybe you will do the same thing...
