Centrum Jobs, did somebody heard about this?
I was emailed by someone name --------- from centrums jobs, she said that they already initiated the procedure towards my employment contract in European Union. I dont know how they got my email address, but i have also applied online many times and sometimes i do not remember anymore all of them. now they are asking me to complete my requirements such as 1.CV European standard 2. Work permit application form 3. Motivation letter, containing and 4. Your personal registration number from the foreign work force office. Since I don not know what are these. They have referred me to a specialist that will helped me in all these documents. I have talked to them through online chat and the specialist asked me to send 72 euro for all the documents. 72 euro is not much of a money, however AI do not want to be played. Is there really European Union? anyone had this kind of email?? thank you..

Passed NCLEX-RN, first try
I passed my NCLEX with first try.. I took it last june 10, 2008 California state.. I have a review center but I was always absent or if not i go half day.. I started reviewing January but never so serious because I am reviewing with my boyfriend, we come and go in my review center, and put more time in dating! hahaha! we only got serious in my review when it was april all what we did was to answer test question in Pearsonvue and we answer subject by subject,5 days a week, and all its rationale where we got wrong or just luckily got it right we write it on pad of paper and at night read it then read and answers saunders 4th edition book also.. when the clock strikes 11:30 PM I stopped and go to sleep.. I am not deligent in studying, I never study early in the morning because it gives nothing to me.. I tried it once studying till dawn and waking up early but I don't absorbed anything ( I also don't study quietly, I should be facing the television, because it keeps me awake). On month of May we did the same thing but we also answer now 75 questions of saunders CD.. and that's it.. we finish pearson at the end of May but we did not finish our saunders..~lazy to read~.. 5 days before our exam we flew to Makati and brought with us our laptop and days before our exam we keep on answering questions and going to church to pray.. On the day of our exam we went to the testing center early to avoid rush that can lead to mental block.. we both stop at 75 question and took it for almost 3hrs..~whew~ ITS HARD!! I got 6 SATA and 2 Computations while he got 12 SATA. after a month `WE BOTH PASSED'! Thanks to God!! Actually how you prepare to your exam is really up to you. find your comfort on how to handle your studying, don't ever overstressed yourself, find time to relax, if you think there is no absorption while you are studying then stop and rest. don't push yourself too hard. PRAY,PRAY, PRAY to give you strenght and willingness to study. Ask people for advise but find what fit you most. You can never tell if you are ready to take the test because the more its coming the more it feels that you are unprepared. And don't get caught of seeing yourself reading every author of NCLEX books because it will only confuse you with their principles, values , etc when you are taking your exam. remember authors have different approaches. Find only 1 or 2 sources that has similar approach for your studying. Remember the EXAM is not EASY.. I dont know for some but for me I can say that its not easy even after passing it! even until now. Number 1 question for me is not easy.. Goodluck and congratulations to everyone!

retrogression vs immigrant visa
Now with retrogression, how long now does it takes to be granted with immigrant visa?? does it depends on what state you applied? I am just about to apply my visa screen next week. and also, is it better if I'll just apply for working visa instead of immigrant which will take for years i think?? Thank you everyone.....

Residential Aid Qualifications
Thanks... there are few I know that will like to hire me as a nurse in states even without experience but then because of retrogression it will be so much later that I can practice as a nurse..And I cant wait for that since I don't have any work yet that can help me to be financially stable.... It's really hard for me to take this risk it just gave me no choice.... Maybe now its just a start, then I'll proceed to become a nurse when everything is ok.. I just hope for the best.. ~sob~

Residential Aid Qualifications
ouch! hmmm... but it just left me with no choice.. see I'm a RN here in the Phils n actually pass my NCLEX n IELTS but the problem is that I don't have any experience working in an hospital because I was more busy taking all the exams and ended up with no work because of increasing number of graduates each year n our government can't cope with that. and with the retrogression in states and in Canada to become a nurse I know that I need also to have experience and take their exams too.. see that's why I don't have a choice... ~sob~

Why did you take up nursing? What's your story?
Me? I dont know.. I wasnt sure of being a nurse before, but when I started to taking care of my patients during my school years, I felt the need to take care of more patients genuinely.. It was really a great feeling to help taking care of patients, and a simple THANK YOU from the family of your patient make my heart bigger!:heartbeat:redbeathe then I decided to be a nurse... I passed my local board last June 2006 but unfortunately it was compromised...So most of the hospitals in our place does not hire us.. so i took the whole exam last June 2007 and I passed! So I took my IELTS too and applied for State board and last June 2008 i passed my NCLEX at 75 item answered questions. Unfortunately work here is almost impossible to find, I went to almost all of the hospitals here but most of them will just tell me that "they will just call me"... so work is my problem now.. and how can I be a nurse? So that I can help people and my family?:imbar
