2nd time, didn't pass

I am sure you all have seen quite a few of similar posts like mine. I took the nclex for the second time on 05/03/2007 and unfortunately, i didnt pass. I had 265 questions and geez, i was ridiculously drained after i got out of there. When I found out two days later, my heart felt so heavy! I seriously thought i was having an MI. I feel so depressed, embarassed, stupid, and feel like giving up. I don't know what to do. I am scared to retake the test again and have a possibility of failing it AGAIN!

I have taken an NEC review and Hurst review and obviously didnt work, simply because I didnt have much time and focus to study since i have been working. I am planning on taking the KAPLAN review the end of May but I am not sure if it will be worth it but I am running out of options here. Can you please give me feedbacks about Kaplan live review and Kaplan books? I am planning on taking a leave of absence from work (as a nurse tech) so I can focus on studying. I think it's best. Well, sorry if this was a long one but again THANK YOU for all of your support!

I feel you. I took the exam 2 times and failed both times. The first 2 times I used Kaplan. It obviously is not for me. I am now using an internet program from the NCSBN National Council of State Boards of Nursing. They are the ones who write the questions for the NCLEX. I purchased the 3 week program and I love it. I am taking the exam again on the 17th. I feel like I have studied so much that I could be a doctor. I wish everyone the best of luck when they take the exam again. We will make it:loveya:

Me too. Kaplan doesn't really help me. What other suggestions besides kaplan? what did you use to pass? I need help. I need to work and support my family.

well I am wreck.... I am taking the exam tomorrow at 8 am for the 3rd time. I have done all that I can do. I loved the course I did from the national council. Since they are the ones who write the questions for the exam I am hoping some of the same questions or similiar ones will be on the exam. If I dont pass I dont know what I will do. I wish everyone the best of luck.

Ya Hoo I finaly passed. I have those 2 sweet letters after my name......RN. I am telling you I think the best way to go is to use theNCSBN. i FELT LIKE i KNEW ALMOST EVERY QUESTION. GOOD LUCK ON WHAT EVER YOU CHOOSE

i am sorry about what happened, but for sure you can pass in god's time.:wink2: i too is preparing for nclex-rn.still struggling because i've been away for 5 years and it seems that it is too difficult for me to handle it.

by the way, i am a foreign nurse and i already passed my nle.i am now processing my papers for nclex and i am scared to death.so many things in my mind.."what if i fail the exam?".. what i will do next..so on and so forth..

don't worry(for those who plan to take the nclex...)we can do it !!!!:yeah:
