2nd time around for NCLEX PN

First time I took the boards I stopped at 88 and failed. This time around I stopped at 161. Had lots of drugs which I didnt know, lots of SATA, lots of Maternity then infection control, lots of lab values, prioritization, and of course Med Surg. I didnt even bother to take my break because I was already concentrated and on a roll answering questions. As always, I walked out of the center feeling as if I failed. I just wonder if my last question will determine a pass or fail...I hate it because we dont have the quick results. as far as the PVT, i had a few classmates try the trick and they got as far as the CC page, but when they received their results they passed. So in the back of mind I dont know if i should rely on it either. Any word of advice?

I got the mail today and received one of those NCLEX review flyer, i heard from someone is if you receive those flyer that means you failed. When i took the boards the first time, i received those flyer as well. so what am i suppose to think....i feel so hopeless..especially with what im going through right now.....

If you get a flier doesn't mean you have failed, it is just junk because your nursing board has sold your name to a company

I too failed my LVN the first time around at 133 questions. Second time i took it it stopped at 134!! and I PASSED!! the trick does not work u jjust have to wait and see the results.. good luck!!

thank you!!! did you try the trick as well??? how would you say it doesnt work when everyone on here is like 99% sure it works. i mean i had two classmates who got the CC page and when they received their results they passed!! i really dont want to rely on the PVT...however today i just got laid off of work...and then i receive those seminar review flyer in the mail...so im thinking to myself did i fail the boards again?? first time same situation where i failed and received flyers...i just hate the waiting period...!!! i really feel hopeless with everything goin on....

If you get a flier doesn't mean you have failed, it is just junk because your nursing board has sold your name to a company

i hope your right Silverdragon....cause i would hate to study again and retake the exam....very stressful esp during the waiting period!!!

i asked that because just this afternoon, i got laid off from work.. which is really weird....i cried all the way from home bc i didnt know what to think..other than i have a car note, bills, and other responsibilities. im sayin to myself could there be a reason why this is all happening after I take my Nclex exam....i just hope someone UP above the sky is watching over me...

i hope your right....cause alot is riding on my results right now especially getting laid off...in the meantime i have filed for EDD..but you know the process is long as well...hahaha!! GOD is good and i know HE is testing me right now...or he has better plans for me...as they say "when one door closes, another door opens" ...so im praying soooooo hard that next mth will be betta for me..so how is the studying goin?? im not sure if i should start studying again since i am not working nemo...what do you think? it wouldnt hurt hah?

yes ...start studying one of my friend took her boards and she was sure that she failed it and when she got home she started studying again...and after a few days she got a letter that said that she passed it...i hope the same thing happens with u...i hope you pass it ....but i understand how it feels...i want to pass it soo bad... i m tired of studying now...i hope god listen to our prayers:crying2::D..i m kinda excited and very nervous to take my test...i cant even say that i get easy questions cuz that means you are failing it...lol...so dont worry ...watch some movies...and did you try the pearsonvue trick????

well since im not working i will put more time in studying until i get results... That way my edd shud kick in...it dosent hurt! As far as the pvt trick someone said it isnt true. I believe it bc two of my classmates went straight to the CC page but got their results and they passed! What matters the most is the paper!also i heard that the last question dosent consider a pass or fail..all these myths we hear jus makes us go crazy!! Ive heard it all.. If u get a small envelope means u passed, if uget a big

manila size envelope means u failed.. That isnt true!!! As far as ur test u cant determine an easy question to a hard question bc they all seem hard!! I wish u the best of luck and i hope u pass the first time! Im pretty sure you will!!!

thanks...yes i need wishes..:) umm..sorry ...i dont remember what number she stopped at it was like a year ago..she is working now...i hope both of us pass and start working as lvn soon....:) :heartbeat let me know when u get ur results...!!!

No i havent received my results yet.. Probably by end of next month..my gut feeling is i failed.. I read in ur thread that u got the famous pop up..lucky u! Early congrats! Wha number did u stop at? What type of questions did u get???

thanks but i m only gona believe that i passed after i get my results..i really hope that i passed..!!!i stopped at around 95 and i got alot of meds and sata's...and i got like 3 drag n drops...so did u try the pvt trick???did u get that pop up too???
