Hi all, Can you guys give me suggestions on which online review courses I should take. I mean the online one. I know that Hurst online review lets you stream their video content for a whole year. Do they cover all topics or just certain topics. Are there online reviews that any of you would recommend and why i should take it?

I'm currently using LaCharity PDA, Saunders 5th Edition and CD QA, Saunders 4th CD QA and now I'm planning on buying a Kaplan 2012-2013 Strategies, Practice, and Review. Thanks in advance everyone!

The hurst covers everything. I thought it was really great.

Thank you. I just get distracted very easily when I read the books. XD

I can only vouch for Kaplan and it's inclusive classroom sessions since that is the only one I have used. Though I need to give credit to ATI's own review, a three-day, content-driven review with their own NCLEX prep book. Fact is: I will give Kaplan's prep book a 10 out of 10 for the pharmacology portion for it was precise yet dense and a 9 out of 10 for Medsurg and disease types content.

Now onward to the in-class review: the Kaplan decision tree can be annoying at first but it WILL help you, the question bank has 3000 questions--it will keep your brain at 6th gear, and the question trainers (7 total) will keep you on your toes.

My take home message is space enough time each day to review concepts for pharmacology, lab values, and Medsurg/pediatric-OB/Psych content. If you do decide on Kaplan, whether the online-only or classroom sessions, make sure you do questions everyday to keep the brain running at least at fifth gear (50 questions at a time, do two sets; meanwhile, question trainers will build your cognitive endurance). Lastly and finally, stay relax, stay focus, and stay motivated. You all already graduated from your degree... this is your sprint to the finish line. Pace yourself and stay consistent.

Best wishes to everyone,

PM me if anything. I'm here.

i completely agree with your post. I bougtht kaplan and I too was annoyed with the decision tree at first, but it really did train my thinking. I also forgot to mention in my earlier post, which you mentioned, ATI. I used ATI for content (amazing nclex review book) because our school made us get it, but I loved it. ATI+Kaplan worked wonders for me.
