ncnz application denied

Published

hi guys, i just wanna share my story and ask few questions.

I lodged in my ncnz app last decmber and recently received their email telling me that they declined my application because of my work experience. I decided to withdraw my application and have my submitted requirements be send back to me.

Now, I'm planning to apply in AHPRA but having second thoughts.

I only have 2 years and 7 months post grad hosp experience (2010-2013) and i dont know if they will consider it. im -also currently unemployed which i know would make a big factor in considering if i'm eligible to take bridging course, wouldn't it?

I've spent quite a lot of money already for ncnz ( i paid certain amount of money in a consulting agency to help me process my papers) and i would not be able to get a refund.

i hope you guys could enlighten me about this. Thanks in advance

I've worked in a few places. I worked at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and it was very busy and sometimes stressful but we had a really good time. The pay was also very good. I was a clinical nurse there and by the time I left I got paid more than 100k AUD a year. I am currently in NZ atm at a regional hospital where everything is chill and relaxed. The pay isnt as good as Oz though. Ive really enjoyed my time in both countries.

Which school where you looking at attending? My brother went to IHNA and if I remember correctly it was 15k to 18k AUD inclusive of accomodation. This was in 2013.
