hi everyone, i just took NCLEX yesterday and the computer shut off at 250+ ? im not sure if pass. those who got the same experience, i can tell how they felt.whew! most of them are priority questions, delegations, meds, some are psych, i got 2 select all that apply, i looked at myself infront of the computer during the test. i almost want to give up. i wish the computer will shut off so i could get some rest..but i told myself that im gonna fight to pass...im still thinking about the exam and i have doubt if i really pass cuz it cut off after the 3 priority questions then 1 pschy which i think...i didnt get the last one right.well im not sure . is it true that when u got the last question correct that means there's a possibility that u gonna pass? they said that if u got alot of priority questions that's a good sign.can anyone comment on this?
does anyone have the same experience i got..hope to hear from you guys

Number of questions means absolutely nothing. Getting the last answer right or wrong means absoultely nothing.
Were your questions progressively getting harder?
hi suzanne, how will i know if the question is getting harder? what can you say about the priority questions? is that a difficult question? oh, im kinda confuse. how about the lenght of the questions and choices? does that mean that the question is getting more difficult? i got 3 priority questions before i get the psych question which i think is not a priority question then the computer shut off. what do you think? i really appreciate your response thanks suzzane

I took my NCLEX on Friday Jan. 27th and I had a lot of priority questions whether that is good or bad I don't know.
I am just trying to stay positive and keeping myself occupied so I don't go crazy about whether I passed or not.
I wish you well. Stay positive!! :)

You won't really know the difficulty level of the question, but she is asking if they seemed to be harder to YOU. The length of the question and the responses don't have any bearing on the difficulty level of the question. It sounds hopeful! Keep us posted.
hi nursemomruns, thanks...i took my nclex in california- does not participate in quick result..they said it will take 2-3 weeks to get the result. i have a little hope now..hopefully i pass. i can't imagine myself going back to my review books and do alot of studying again. i really wanna work as an RN. thanks again....

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but there are 15 pretest items on the RN exam and 25 pretest items on the PN exam that don't count. They are scattered throughout the exam. You can't tell which questions they are. They may be difficult or easy items. Is this what you are talking about?
i was talking about the last 20 questions when you hit the 245 above. they said when you get to 245-265 the questions are becoming easier. i dont know if it's true.
i can still remember..i got 3 priority questions then one psych when the computer shut off. the reason why i was so worried because the last 3priority questions i got were'nt getting hard for me and the last one psych question. i have doubt if i pass....im trying to become positive but it's too hard this time....hopefully i can make it.

No, that is a myth. It will depend on how you are doing on the exam whether the questions get easier or harder.
I hope you make it, too!
