I took the NCLEX yesterday also and had alot of SATA and priority questions. There were even a few med questions on meds that I have never heard of before. I left there kinda flabergasted, and feeling like an idiot. I have tried to check the quick results, but my score is not available yet. I just want to know one way or the other "DID I PASS??"
They are not interested in what you have learned already in school and actually getting a question that is asking about drip factors is not a good thing to be getting on the exam. Everyone knows that you had to pass a math exam to be able to even get thru your program.
The SATA questions are only a format style and are not specific question types that would make any difference. There are also 15 free questions on each and every exam, but no one know which ones that they are.
Best of luck on your results, but you are going to need to wait for them, no way to second guess.

I took my nclex yesterday. I had over 20 SATA (who gets SATA right consistently?). No calculations. No lab values. I had med questions, delegation. I am just sick thinking about it. I feel like I failed because I just can't see how they could evaluated me when they don't even want to find out if I know how to calculate a drip rate. I just felt dumbfounded when I left. Any thoughts?
