NCLEX Tuesday.. Panic... Please words of advice!!

You are 100% normal. Most have similar feelings right before the exam. Read some of The Random Facts Thread and The Infection Control Thread for some last minute facts/tips. Be sure to take a break the day before your test to refresh your mind. A clear and refreshed mind will be able to think better. Try some relaxation techniques. Only you can answer the question on whether or not you are prepared though. If you truely feel you need more time then reschedule. Best wishes.

Reschedule if you do not feel adequately prepared. Soul searching for your answer and it will come to you. This is a journey and it is your path.

Hello everyone, I will taking my nclex toward the end of next month but am just waiting for my ATT letter. I have been using mostly saunders book as a study guide but i have been reading most of post here and seem to me that most people are using kaplan and i cannot affort that right now. I need all support I can get from everyone because I am having a hard time sleep at night thinking about the nclex..

Saunder's is also widely used and a great reveiw book, just be sure it is the latest edition. Good luck.

I am terrified and convinced I am going to fail this.. My school has a 98% pass rate and I took a review course on top of that with a 98% pass rate.. So logically I think I should pass, but I'm SURE I AM GOING TO FAIL!! I am doing awful with these review questions and I feel like I know nothing.. How can I possibly know everything? I can't! So why is it that NCLEX can ask me anything!
Please tell me this is normal feelings before the exam, and not indicative that I really don't know anything. I'm panicking here.. :bluecry1::bluecry1:

I hear you sister, I am going to take mine on Monday. I think I have studied enough. I have been studying since last summer but couldn't take the NCLEX then because I got pregnant so I kept putting it off. But the closer I get to my exam date, the more nervous and stress I get at the same time. But I think it's normal.. haha i hope. May God Bless and guide us throughout the exam. You have to be confident or you will fail think positive. You can pass why not think more of yourself you made it through nursing school you can make it through the boards!! Good luck!!!

You mind is a powerful thing. If you go in thinking you will fail you probably will. You have to think positive. It's ok to be nervous but you have to walk in there thinking that you are going to pass this test. You can do it, good luck!

I know the feeling :yeahthat: I take NCLEX tomorrow too and I feel the same way.. SCARED TO DEATH... my school has a high pass rate and we were required to take a review course as well but it was one that they put on for us. I had to take a HESI exit exam and scored 1034 we had to make a 900 to pass. But I still feel so ill prepared..Is it just nerves?? Plus I have been a paramedic for 11 years you would think by now I would not let so much stress me out..

Let me know how you do... I am sure you will pass with flying colors. You are more prepared than you think you are. Remember I think I can .. I think I can.. and you WILL!!

Now to convince myself.. LOL :)
