Hello Mommas:

I am taking my exam this month.I have a 3months old,5years old and a 3years old.I get most of my studying done when they are sleeping at night;i study from 9,10,or 11pm till 3am most time and till the next morning(5am) when hubby is home.I use REA's interactive flash cards,Lippincott CD and read more about questions i really dont understand in the book(lippincott) after reading the rationales,i bought the kaplan online testbanks and i have the book as well(i read the book maybe 5times but finished studying the questions bank and rationales).I am also going to purchase NCSBN's Review for the last three weeks before my exam. What about you?I am taking the NCLEX-PN.Let us use this thread to encourage each other or what do you think?Goodluck to all the mommas out there as we can do it:D.

I passed with 75 questions! Now I am looking for a job-I am kinda worried that I wont get one before I give birth. I guess it wouldnt be the end of the world though if that happened. I could stay home with the baby a little bit longer than if I were working (as I wouldnt qualify for FMLA) and then I could look again. We'll see what happens.

Good luck with studying and I am praying that you pass!

I took a break yesterday and went to bed with the kids instead of studying.it felt so good and i am still tired.I said two days off studying but i can't help it;i think about to resume back.I want to start right now as i am typing talk about addiction to studying.

@ prayerworks : same with me in here...i am really having a hard time to steal some really serious studying moments because of my lil toddler... huhuhu... i'll be taking the exam in a couple of months from now and i am not that confident enough to say that i am quite ready for exam...

will just pray hard for all of us who'll gonna be taking the exam... and congratulations to those who had taken with flying colors...

ZandZ,we can only try our best and pray to God to help us.

yes... and you are right... prayer really works... God will surely help us...

I'm also a mom of a 10months old baby, working full time and studying at the same time. Sometimes I get so tired that I ended up sleeping but when my baby wakes up in the middle of the night, it try to open my phone and answer Q&A's from my Saunders app. Goodluck to all of us!

I passed my exam with a 7 months old at home. We all can do it, good luck with your test ladies.

thank you for this thread prayerworks, and your nick is really good and really true that prayer works!

i'm a stay at home mom with 23 months old toddler, i graduated year 2005, almost 5 years ago. and i postponed many times my test plan because i have not studied enough. i hope that this nov. i will take the test and will pass it.

i find it hard to study because i don't like tv sound at home, i told this to my husband but it seems he can't leave without it. i am struggling inside me.

I also graduated 2006 and it seems that I can't recall so much Nursing stuff anymore. I hope I can make it when I take my boards. Goodluck to us! :)
